My DC is an illustration of my love for Washington DC- the birthplace of my creative small business Mirasa. The idea of Mirasa began when I was working as a textile designer in New York City and designed a set of toys for my niece's first birthday. Two years later, I married a public defender and moved to Washington DC. After my son was born, I wanted easy-to-wear basics for his everyday adventures. All the motifs in My DC are places my son and I have explored together.
